growing up with gummy bears

so we have entered new uncharted waters here at the difran house... not going back either. we are had a successful week of potty training. monday went really well. tuesday was horrible till later in the afternoon then it seemed to click. and since then it's been amazing. so i am pleased at the progress. i was ready to give up but am so thankful for people encouraging me to stick with it. it is so worth it.
by the end of most day's i was totally exhausted and my knees hurt from kneeling at the potty all day long. but i am proud.
and what is cuter than little bums in gitch.

hard to believe spring break has come and gone. we managed to thrive for the most part. a trip to the library, playing with friends, reading, putting together new puzzles

and going for walks.

i am ready to go back to work mainly beacuse i love my job.. but i am also so glad i had this last week at home with the boys all day.
i also wanted to say i so appreciate the comments from last weeks post. i am grateful for my community of those who believe in me. i plan to make it a habit of sharing the raw and the real with you...

Love the tighty whities! I'm so proud of you and the potty training thing. I know it was hard for you, but you made it look so easy! A huge part of that I'm sure is that you were confident enough as a parent to listen to your boys and wait until THEY were ready and didn't try to force them sooner. Way to go, H. Love you and your boys!

I would love to pinch those tighty-whitey bums. You would seriously have to physical restrain me if I was within the perimeter of Winkler.

AH potty training....it's one of those things....it's very intimidating to start (even if you've done it before), but once you do it you realize, 'hey, this ain't so bad!'. Your boys are adorable and very bright!

Oh man, I'm so glad it worked for you! I'm finding this part of life to be the most frustrating. Bria refuses to sit on the potty, and would rather pee in the corner. If you've got tips, do share :)
