jumbles of my brain

so now since you have gone so long without a real post by me.. i decided in my saturday afternoon laziness to bring you all into my inner circle. here is what i am thinking in no particular order (that's how circulation works... at least in my head)
-i need a new hair color.. badly
-if i were not buried under bills i would go out and get said hair color, the thought of coloring my hair from the contents in a box scares me, i have not had the guts to do that in like 15 years.. do i start now?
-my house is clean today. it always feels good to have a clean house
-i love the way ari & noah are talking these days.. they just yammer all day long. they have the cutest little voices and sometimes i just stare at their mouths because of the way they move them. it's fasinating.
-dave is gone to work for the second time today - i hate on call weekends.
-i want a cheeseburger almost everyday. i have a love affair with red meat. it makes me feel good.
-i still am trying to find the perfect fabric to make new bedding for the boys room. i think i have narrowed it down.. well who am i kidding. these are the ones i love. Etsuko Furuya's fabrics are lovely.. love this combo HERE still loving Amy Butlers dots line though and thinking that the lime & slate full moon polka dots would be adorable.
-my brain is filled with so many home ideas and i have NO time.. seriously no time.
-loving fall so i can wear my cute grey jacket and my new pewter shoes and of course loving fantastic scarves.. which i need more of. seriously.
-rehersals are going so good. i am really enjoying it and we have a fantastic cast. it's long evenings with general blocking but i love it. it's going to be an amazing show and you should all have tickets.
-selling Norwex now too for those of you who don't know... i am loving this. it's easy to get behind products that pretty much sell themselves.. i will blog more about this later.. but if anyone wants to have a party and get tons of free stuff (espcially in time for christmas) let me know!
-embarking on my 29th birthday.. feeling ok about it until i go to rehersals and this tiny blonde girl who is probably all of 17 keeps telling me how old i look. ugg...
-trying to stay afloat with this whole parenting thing.. someday s i could just throw in the towel. it's hard and it feel awful alot of the time... I love my kids but feel most days they would be better off without me and all my selfishness... i am working on it. luckily i have a partner who rocks at the parenting thing.
-still dealing with my ever growing addiction to all things ETSY it is a seriously horrible place to go.. i keep buying things and things keep getting cuter.
sorry there are no photots here.. i have not been good with snapping. next time i promise for photos.
Ok if you are still reading this then you deserve a rew ard so here it is:
Leave me a comment and you will be eligible for a free Norwex product... it'll be good i promise.

hey free stuff!! I'm in!! LOL! But I was also thinkin' to say...Give yourself a treat and get the color done in the salon - ya never know what's going to happen out of that "mystery box" from the store - in my opinion.. Plus you work hard - so pamper yourself - the least you could do is chalk it up as a birthday present... by the way - you don't look OLD at all...17 year-olds are still babies...- he he Oh and have a FANTASTIC birthday friend. You're beautiful!

I'm with you on the parenting thing! I get so mad at the kids and then the next moment I just get overwhelmed with how much I love them and then I feel like a failure. It's such a bad cycle. How do I get out of it?!

Okay, free I am in. I was just at a party this last week. Corrina did the party. I got a pak of face cloths and that little grey spongey thing...I can hardly wait to clean my tub with it!
I really could have bought everything....but $$ does not allow this. I came home thinking my house was somewhat infested.
Oh and 29 is not old...think, would you want to me that little 17 year old bubbling out all sorts of useless information to people that she knows nothing of....I say nope.

Yikes I can't believe how rude that 17 year old is. I have a 15 year old and she would never say that. Well she knows better!! LOL

I'd love to come to the show...but it's a bit far for us - bummer! Hope you have a terrific birthday!! This parenting gig is definately an opportunity to lean on God - it also is teaching me about His grace! My favorite verse as a parent has become, Love covers all. Bless you friend!

Speaking of your birthday, a little something is on it's way, but it won't be there in time for your birthday....

i wish we lived closer so i could have a party (p.s.....that's not the only reason i wish we lived closer!!) glad to hear from you again. i understand having so many projects you want to do and no time. a couple weekends ago i pushed ALL of my homework aside and made 20+ cards....it was glorious. until i thought about doing homework again :(
love you lots!! have a good monday!

gosh you have readers! and never mind tracy, she's crazy and has a high-school mindset...who misses that?? anyways, i've never heard of norwex, perhaps you should introduce me with a free product? come on, you know we're still mennonites under these new last names ;)

ever want to find out who reads your blog... offer free stuff :)

I did want to mention though that I'm right there with you on a lot of this post. From Etsy to feeling inadequate as a mom. Not fun... well, Etsy IS fun, just expensive after a while!!

I also love Norwex, though my SIL (your neighbor at the end of the bay) is also selling it, so I would have to have a party through her! I still wouldn't mind something free though...

I enjoy reading your ramblings. I always color my hair out of a box (one time I got it done by a hair dresser and it was more orange than red - highlights). We have all felt like quiting with the whole parenting thing once or twice (maybe once or twice a month!).
I have a question about Norwex. I am interested in a new mop and sweeper (broom?) attachments for my mop handle. I am finding the ones I have are not doing as good a job as they did when they were new. Is it possible to buy them separately? How much do they cost?
I hear that you are a good piano player from our daugther's violin teacher - we hope to be able to come and watch the performance since she is in charge of the music. Eva
