everyday stuff

its officially winter here.. and is it ever cold. today it is snowing like crazy. last week i attempted to take the boys out to play in the snow for their first time. yea never doing that alone again. i didn't get any pictures because it was all so stressful i just forgot. they couldn't move and hated it. picture A Christmas Story where Ralphie's little brother is lying in the snow and can't move. yep that was what it looked like over here.
Spent Saturday at Super Scrap Day with the girls from My Scrap Shoppe. Such a great time. I got 7 layouts and a mini book done. It was nice to scrapbook for myself since I have been mostly creating for other people. I have uploaded all my layouts to my Picasa web album which you can check out HERE. I have also made a separate folder for Custom work I have done which you can find HERE.
Heres a sampling of some of my recent creations:
The house is moving along. Taping and Mudding will happen starting tomorow and we have hired some painters as well.. yesterday dave and i picked out all our light fixtures in the city whew that was quite the job. I am going to be happy when its just all done and we can move in.
I am still wavering on paint colors.. really having a hard time with a bathroom color.. any suggestions?

Yes, taking toddlers out in the snow is always more fun in our imaginations! Luke punched me in the face a few weeks ago when as he lost his balance while I was helping him with his boots. Most of the time it feels like it's not worth the effort. But some days it is.

Yes, what wonderful weather we are having! ;) Who did you end up hiring for painting? I just posted pics of our paint.... as for the bathroom, no idea I had a hard time with that as well, I say stick with a light color, Good Luck, and can't wait to see the finished product.

AWESOME AWESOME layouts! :) especially love the lucky us one...and as for bathroom colours...one of ours is HC-109 (an olive green colour - looks great w/ burnt orange etc.)...another one is delaware putty, and yet another is dunmore cream. Let me know what you decide!

Black and Red! you'll have the coolest bathroom in town. Black walls with a red shower curtain and accents and maybe black and white tiles.
super cute Scrapbook pages, you stuff is always beautiful.

Hey What Fun! YOU ARE BUILDING A HOUSE... A HOUSE. How cool is that!
Hmmmm...Picking colors...
I like Potpourri Green for a bathroom, and you can accent with white and olive greens or browns... of course i have no idea what the rest of the house looks like, or the hallway. I think it might make it look bright... I'm sure you will make it look fantastic! YOU ARE SO GIFTED. The scrapbooking is beautiful.

Heather,

Your scrapbooking and other creations are amazing!! You could really sell that stuff.

As for bathroom, it seems a lot of people are suggesting a green - I'll join in as well. We just did ours a light green called rejuvenate (Behr 410E-3). Burgendy looks fantastic with it!

Love you,
Lyds
